In 2006, while Shawn was working at FileNet (acquired by IBM), he came up with the idea of QuikPitch for friends and co-workers who were frustrated with the difficulties of connecting with VC’s in search of venture capital for their startup ideas.

Shawn ran the idea by his buddy Jeff who felt it was a great idea. Committed to enabling quick and easy collaboration between startup entrepreneurs seeking venture capital and investors looking for new ideas and investment opportunities, their goal was to build a solution that’s not only useful and can solve a problem, but that enough people can easily adopt and use. Shawn started by talking to investors and entrepreneurs, conducting surveys, and taking note of everyone’s needs.

Everyone liked the idea and there was a lot of interest in QuikPitch. Backed by growing demand, strong venture capital community support, and years of enterprise business & technology experience from Intel, Hewlett Packard, FileNet, IBM, SunAmerica, and Cisco under their belt, the team was on its way to building QuikPitch.

What started as a side project by Silicon Valley techies turned Internet entrepreneurs has since grown into the world’s fastest growing application helping startup entrepreneurs and investors achieve venture capital management tasks quickly, easily, and effectively from anywhere, anytime!

QuikPitch is built and powered by feedback received from startup entrepreneurs and investors - and we want you to continue to make suggestions for improvement, raise hell when we screw up, and be sure to give us a pat on the back when we get it right, and we promise we’ll listen, fix, and continue to deliver innovation.

Mostly we're a bunch of techies turned Internet entrepreneurs with backgrounds in software, product design and business plus years of hard labor at Intel, Hewlett Packard, FileNet, IBM and Cisco.
